St-Jean 2026 at the 132 — Thanks!
Happy national holiday, Varennes!
NATIONAL HOLIDAY · JUNE 24, 2026
Thanks for St-Jean at the 132!
On June 24, we celebrated Quebec's national holiday at Abreuvoir 132 — live music, open patio, cold beer and the festive atmosphere we love on the South Shore.
The tradition
Quebec's national holiday
St-Jean-Baptiste Day (June 24) is Quebec's national holiday — originally the feast day of Saint John the Baptist, patron saint of French Canadians, it evolved into a celebration of Quebec culture, music and identity. Every June 24, the province comes alive with parties, concerts and community gatherings.
If you're visiting from outside Quebec: think of it as Quebec's version of Canada Day — but with Quebec artists, French-language classics and a uniquely Québécois spirit. At the 132, we honoured that tradition with live Quebec music, a patio party and a community celebration where neighbours, friends and families gathered over a cold beer.
