The 2026 FIFA World Cup is the first edition with 48 teams, co-hosted by Canada, the United States and Mexico. Canada hosts matches in Vancouver and Toronto. Canada had a historic run — first time past the group stage, first-ever knockout win (1-0 vs South Africa) — before being eliminated in the Round of 16 by Morocco (3-0).
